    Hi everyone,

After uprgade IBM Maximo 7.6.1.2 na MAS 9.1 I have some problem with my assets. On old version, when I choose some asset I could see blue dot on map which is location of that asset. After upgrade, i do not see blue dot. Everything is loaded, I see map, the asset is recognize, but ther is no blue dot. Did anyone have similar problem?

    Hi Dario,

I would start with validating the map configuration. Make sure that the map service URLS are correct. Makes sure that the layer ids are correct. Make sure that your endpoints are correct. Make sure your relationships are correct.  Check different features and different assets, does this affect all features or just a few? If GIS created a new service for your MAS environment sometimes the layer ids,  OBECTIDs or GLOBALIDS can change. Sometimes the Map service URL can be updated and the endpoint URL can be missed.   The Map is drawn with the mapServer URL but the link to the asset is made with the Endpoint FeatureServer URL. So it is very possible that the map comes up and looks correct, but the endpoint has an issue making that connection to the asset.

    Thomas,

thanks for the suggestions. It was up to the endpoint. Now everything works, but interestingly on the old Maximo it worked with this endpoint, and on MAS I had to edit it.

    Dario,

do you mean the blue marker? Or the blue dot that represents your current location?

if it's the Blue marker does your asset have a Service Address linked to it? If so this is a defect and fixed in 9.1.18 which was available at the end of May. Sorry I don't have the defect number handy.

If it's the blue dot representing you location make sure you have location services enabled in your browser.

    Mike

    Dear Michael,

I meant on blue marker. I solved the problem, it was up to the endpoint.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
