  • 1.  BIS-SEC-0003 system error

    Hello,
    I've installed Cognos Analytics 11.1.2 version using the option "Easy Install"

    All components has been installed successfully, services started, but at login I get this error:
    BIS-SEC-0003 system error: error calling the user session...try to clear the cache of the browser...

    Does anybody have an idea of this error? I don't find anything about it.

    Found in: People => Account => Cognos => Directory Administrators

    Tab Members
    Add Active Directory Group 

    Tab Permissions
    Group: All Authenticated Users Permission=Read
    Role: Directory Administrator Permission=Full

    I have this message also:
    BIS-SEC-0003 Failure when retrieving information relative to your user session. Try clearing your browser's cache and refreshing the page. 

    The reason is that I deleted by mistake a AD group where all members of this group get this messages.
    Probably a rights issue but I did not found a solution yet.

    Solved!
    In my case the server name was the problem. A forbidden character (underscore) was present in the server name machine.
