Hi. Sorry this has happened to you.
It's hard to know exactly what is going on without more information. If you can run other models with those same data (for example, nominal regression), then my guess is LOGISTIC is somehow the culprit.
Any chance you could send me the data and the syntax you tried? We might be able to get to the bottom of it a little faster that way.
Failing that, you could try starting the program from a command prompt. The exception might be printed out there. That wouldn't be quite as good as running it here, but it's the next best thing.
If you're on a Mac, then open a terminal window. Paste this into it and run it:
"/Applications/IBM SPSS Statistics/SPSS Statistics.app/Contents/MacOS/stats"
If Windows, then open a command window and CD to "C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS Statistics"
Either way, include the quotes.
Run the model again and see if SPSS sends anything back to that window you started from.
Thanks.

Subject: Binary Logistic Error Message
I entered the dependent categorical variable, and then the independent variables and interaction terms. The I received an error message, "Command LOGISTIC REGRESSION unexpected exception occurred execution of this command stops." And at the bottom of the output page, "Any changes made to the working file since 31-Jan-2023 08:13:04 have been lost. The time is now 8:26:41" Is this an error within SPSS or a corruption of my data file? Thank you.
