  • 1.  BigQuery ODBC support with CA 11.1.5

    Can anyone please confirm whether BigQuery with ODBC support is tested in Cognos Analytics 11.1.5? We have placed Simba drivers and able to get successful connection. But the existing package or reports not accessible. It throws error as,

    "DA-SQL-0107 A general exception has occurred during the operation "prepare".[Simba][ODBC] (10670) Invalid descriptor index, descriptor record does not exist, or descriptor record was not properly initialized."

    No their ODBC driver is not tested.

    Looks like a bug in the SIMBA driver.

    Dynamic Query supported Google BigQuery via the Google BigQuery JDBC driver.

    I was able to do both in 11.1.3 and 11.1.7 no issues. I hope you got metadata of all tables from BQ via metadata refresh in data server connection. 
    I have created new BQ data source connection in FM under existing data source and repointed the tables to new data source worked fine for most of the reports.
