May a suggest a somewhat neater alternative?
Set up a Yes/No selector (Data Validation), then have a cell which returns the cubename if Yes, '' if No.
Point the DBSW cube reference to that Cell.
Avoids all the IFs in the DBSWs.

you can also wrap it in an if statement to turn the send ability on and off, something like
=IF($A$1 = TRUE, DBRW(), "send off")
this can be useful if you are adjusting your calculations and don't want to write them back to TM1 yet

Subject: Best Practices for Writing Back Excel Calculations to TM1 Using PAX
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for advice on the best way to:
- Extract data from TM1 into Excel.
- Perform calculations in Excel.
- Write the results back to TM1 using DBRW.
I'm currently using PAX and the DBRW formulas to pull data into Excel, and it works well. After performing my calculations, I want to write the calculated values back. into TM1.
What's the best approach to link calculated Excel cells back to back to TM1?
Thanks for any help or suggestions!
