    Are there any plans to include Base64 encoding/ decoding functions with Planning Analytics Engine?

    I have a few APIs which require encoding values and would prefer to keep any interactions inside Workspace and reduce the reliance on external scripts

    Hi Edward,

    Not only are there plans, they have already been set in motion as well. Exact details to follow but high level the plan is to allow picking up a while as the [partial] body of an ExecuteHttpRequest and having it base64 encoded before being injected in the body, but also an equivalent function that allows such encoding returning the result as a string as well as decoding a string and storing the result into a file.

    Would either of these cover the scenario you are looking at?

    This is great to hear and would exactly cover the requirements I have,

    Looking forward to implementing this alongside the JSONAdd functionality, it is really going to open up the opportunities available with IBM Planning Analytics
