  • 1.  Base portlet URL

    Posted 06/10/08 05:30 AM

using extended portlet url’s the help says “Base value for this portlet URL. May also point to a portal page or individual portlet. When targetting the same portlet, may be left empty”

If I want to target another portlet on the same page do I need to explicitly set the page name / alias in designer, or is there a value I can set that will direct it to the current page.

    Regards

If you want to target another portlet on the same page, you simply set the portlet alias (of the portlet that you want to navigate to) in the Base URL property of the Extended Portlet URL control.

    Thanks,
    Thomas
