Bad Command or Filename Errors with batch files

    Further to my earlier post about problems installing Quip, I also find that running both RunQuip.bat or QuipGui.bat give “Bad Command or Filename” errors on Win98SE.

    Oddly, having given this message QuipGui then proceeds to load the visual interface.

    Could the developer team tell me how to get rid of the bad command or filename errors?

    As I replied to your other post. Can you just try to execute the call to the java virtual machine
    manually instead of using the script. I am confident that this will reveal the problem.
