    Hello,

I need some help understanding primary pool to copy pool, I would like to copy Primary Pool (TAPEPOOL) to Copy Pool (OFFISTE) and then remove the tapes and take offsite. Any pointers on how to do this properly?

You can run the backup storage pool

    backup stg primary_pool_name copy_pool_name

This will copy the primary pool.

You can then checkout the tapes with the checkout libv command

This can be scheduled or scripted.

Also, be aware that offsite pool is DRM functionality that requires License purchase of Extended edition.

If you want to utilize the DRM functionality that is correct, but to just store tapes offsite no license are required and it can be used on both Extended and Basic version. Only difference is that you need to run a few more command to check which tapes are to be removed and set status manually.
