    Hello, IBM Community.

    Does anybody here knows if it is possible to automatize policies in MaaS360?

    I am facing the following issue: Some of our employees are complaining that they don't get any notification when their passcode is about to expire. We have a strict policy to which users has to change their password every 30 days, if this is not done, they get a selective wipe, then they lose an essential app that they need to perform their job.

    We don't want to change the selective wipe as we have many controls to prevent data leak. So I was wondering, what if there's any other way to alert the user that it needs to change passcode? 
    Such as... Change to a more restrictive policy when there's only 3 days left or change the wallpaper with a warning for them to change their password.

    I tested and I saw that the password change notification can be cleared and maybe the ideal would be to make it more persistent.

    Anyway, it would be great if we could find automated paths for this issue and MaaS360 should have something more specific for alerting users. Some users lack the awareness that most IT professionals have. And I tell you, it is not lack of training, but they simply forget about this task. 

    Maybe if someone could give me an idea on how I can do that, or how I can workaround this issue, it would be appreciated.

    Hi Adeilson, 
    You have used the terms "password" and "passcode" here, are you referring to device lock screen password / passcode or the password for mail / network / other?

    Thanks for clarification. 
    Unfortunately this option doesn't exist right now. The detection of passcode about to expire is not a data value we currently collect. 
    However you can request this as a new feature at: https://ideas.ibm.com
    If you request here you will be able to have a conversation directly with the Product Management team.

    Ok, 

    I will try to request it for them, because I think it would be a good idea to maybe even make the notification persistent until the user changes passcode. 
    But we'll also try to make people aware that they should pay more attention in passcode change.
