    Hello everybody:

    I installed the new version of Guardium 12.2, and I can't find the option of DATA at side of User Interface Search. In the old versions12.0 and older, I can choose Data, File and User Interface. But in the new version I can't see it. This occurs in the Aggregator/CM, instead, in the collector I see it. I need obtain the dashboard of graphics that appears (Data Audit).

    I asked to Tech support about it, and they said that it as is. Any know another answer?

    Hi Carlos,

    It's there in my 12.2 environment and we didn't enable anything special, that I'm aware of, to make it appear.

    Just some thoughts for troubleshooting:

    1. GUI Restart > System restart if GUI restart doesn't resolve.
    2. Log in with the built-in admin account and see if it's there.
    3. Make sure all the latest patches are applied (Security and Sniffer).
    4. Could be a licensing issue? Did you apply the Advanced Activity Monitoring License append license as well as the Base + Data Protection append?

    Hi Wendy:

    I did all that you tell me. 

    Restart GUI, restart system, support clean servlets and nothing:

    All patches are installed. Aggregation Issue is problem when Data archive starts and there is other process running. Certificate is for the SMTP keystore. 

    But if you see the collector that this aggregator handles the menu appears.

    My other thought is it may be a license issue. I have an additional append license Advanced Activity Monitoring in addition to Central Manager Aggregator base and Data Protection for Databases Append. Did you compare the installed licenses between your 11.5 and 12.2?

    Finally I remembered how activate it, long time ago a engineer of IBM use a grdapi command and this activate the Investigation dashboard.

    Hi Carlos,

    I was able to replicate this in my environment and the Data search doesn't appear if quick_search is disabled. It is enabled by default, so I'm not sure why it isn't enabled for you, but when I ran grdapi disable_quick_search the menu disappeared and when I ran grdapi enable_quick_search it appeared again. Glad you were able to resolve the issue.
