  • 1.  Attribute data types in Schema Editor

Hi, I am encountering a problem using the ino:id as a counter.

I am very new to Tamino and I would like to know if there is a certain data type (for attributes) that I could use as an increment counter for indexing of the contents of the database. I know that there is a certain data type for this in db2 but now I am looking for its equivalent in Tamino.

thank you so much and your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

Not too sure what you mean by a using ino:id as a counter. Just because a particular instance may have a value of 100 for the ino:id does NOT mean that there are necessarilly 100 instances of this particular doctype.

    Kind regards,

    Simon
