    this type come only as USB or SATA drives.

    There are SATA slimline drives of this type; but they
    are made for laptops. An since I am unable to find/get the
    H/W and S/W specification for the slimline slot I am assuming
    that these drives will not work in the slimline bay.

    I would really appreciate some help! I have been working
    on this problem for over a year and have not found a solution
    to my problem.
    At the very least I need to attach a CD R/W drive.
