    Hi All

    I am having issues trying to create an asymetric Calculation in a PAW View.

    Per the PAW User guide I should be able to create a calc like this , which is only applicable to Canada

    When I create a similar view, the calc is applied to all rows and also carries the incorrect value across .


    Has anyone else experienced this ?
    Using PAW Version 63

    We did intentionally change something here.   The good news is there is a fairly simple work around!

    When we perform asymmetric calculations we always duplicated the calculation for each member in the outer hierarchy.   We then automatically hide the calculation for all members in the outer hierarchy except the member where you selected members from the inner hierarchy.   You can still manually hide the calculation, while in asymmetric selection mode, for the rows where you don't want to see it.

    I'm still working on determining if we can make this work the same way it did before 2.0.63.

    Indeed the calculation is asymmetric but it's "stored" as element within the model dimension. That element is behaving in symmetrical manner and will get repeated for each element in the stacked Region dimension. The only workaround is to build an asymmetric view in which you keep the calculation for Canada only.
    It's an issue we'll try to bring to the UX team on our side, perhaps asymmetric calculation should behave asymmetrically in the form of a "free flowting" row or column that is independant from the stacked dimensions used for the calculation
