It seems that the problem is resolved in IF035 interim fix which was published on fixpack central three day ago?

Hi @Srdjan Borjanovic,
I PM'ed you. I was able to replicate what you describe and an updated fix is pending. I'll reply here when it is posted.

I checked again to be sure. After applying interim fix IF034 SPSS 27.0.1 closes itself after loading. Has this fix been tested with this version ?

Thank you David,
These fixes are typically applied by replacing the entire JRE folder in SPSS installation directory. However, there is something strange with the latest IF034 fix for SPSS 27.0.1.
When one replaces the JRE folder in install folder with the one from IF034, the SPSS refuses to start. It complains about some missing .dll????
When patching SPSS 27.0.1 is it OK to skip all previous interim fixes and just to apply the latest IF034?

Hi @Srjan Borjanovic,
Fixpacks are indeed cumulative, just like full releases. What you are referencing is an Interim Fix. Interim Fixes address only the specific issue reported.
On the Fix Central page where you downloaded this Interim Fix is a link to "Show fix details" once you click that link you will see an abstract for this defect, including a link to the Known Issue associated with it.
This one looks like it is a JRE update.
Abstract: In order to address numerous PSIRTs filed against the JRE used in Statistics client and server, need to update the JRE patch version for Statistics versions 27.0.1, 28.0.1, 29.0.2, 30.0.0 and 31.0.1 (the latest version of each major release). This interim fix has the updated JRE of each major release.
