Is there a need to have antivirus for AIX or not 
and if yes why we do not need it ?

I have only seen a few commercial ones.

Example:

Powertech Antivirus for AIX | Fortra

However, external products are often used, e.g. HTTP firewalls / content scanners / mail gateways that already have a scanner.

(They will not run under AIX:)..

Directly for AIX I don't know any virus at all. But maybe someone else here has some info about it.
