    Today we have announced two important changes to the way we can use Machine Learning on z/OS and with Db2.

    Machine Learning on z/OS has been renamed to Watson Machine Learning for z/OS and among other improvements, has a new deployment option that it all z/OS.

    Db2 AI for z/OS has been expanded to have more algorithms around
    • Intelligent SQL concurrency
    • Enhanced application performance through sort optimizations
    • Exception detection from Db2 statistics with recommended actions.
    It also utilises the new z/OS deployment option for WMLz making it simpler to deploy.
