    My initial research has helped me realise AIX's Resource Monitor and Control. Two resource monitors have expecially caught my eye File System Resource Monitor and Audit Log. I have a feeling I can use these to monitor for the arrival of a new file in a specific folder, but I could not find any documentation. Does any body have any experience in this area.
