    Hi Everyone,

At the end of last year, we talked about the merger of the individual state based MUGs into a single Australian MUG. That has now gone live. I'm happy to announce that we also have a full committee for the AMUG. I'd like to introduce them to you...

    1. Darren Hornidge - Coca-cola EuroPacific, VIC
    2. Deborah Price - Pacific National, QLD
    3. Stuart Eley - APA, SA
    4. Michael Cahir - Certus Solutions
    5. Craig Kokay - COSOL
    6. David Harrison -  BPD Zenith
    7. Johannes Tjoa - IBM
    8. Paul Lee - IBM

Together we will be working on managing the MUG, brainstorming content ideas for upcoming MUGs.

We will also be trying out a new format for MUG meetings. For 1H, we've planned a meeting for the 16th of April 2024 & it will be hosted in 4 separate locations on the same day...

    1. Melbourne- Level 28, IBM Southgate. 60 City Rd, VIC (host - Johannes Tjoa)
    2. Brisbane - IBM Brisbane, QLD (host - Paul Lee)
    3. Perth - IBM Perth, WA (host - Christophe Lucas)
    4. South Australia - APA, SA (host - Stuart Eley)

The format will be a 4-way event with live streaming to all locations... I'll be setting up 4 separate events so that you can register to attend the venue of your choice. Please do not register for all events. This will allow us to plan for catering & logistics.

Our hope is that this will allow you to re-connect with people from within your own state but also have the opportunity to make new connections with the wider Australian Maximo community.

    What you need to do:

    1. Volunteer to host the next AMUG in your state.
      • For QLD, SA & WA, a meeting room that can fit 15-20 people would be ideal.
      • For NSW, a meeting room that can fit 30-40 people would be ideal.
      • For VIC, a meeting room that can fit 40-50 people would be ideal.
    2. Put your hand up to present at a future AMUG.
      • Presentations do NOT just have to be of something smart, funky, or wow! It can be about everyday topics. ie. Challenges within the business & how you used Maximo to solve it. If you think you've got an idea or are willing to present but not sure on what, talk to us & we can help workshop some ideas.
      • If you've done an integration with Maximo, we'd love to hear about it.
    3. Talk to us. Tell us what's on your mind.
      • What topics would you like to see covered at a future MUG?
      • What did you like about previous MUGs & what do you think we could do better?
      • How can we help to get more participation from your organisation?
      • Are the sessions too technical? Or not technical enough?

We look forward to meeting you at the next AMUG either in person or virtually.
