Hello everyone,
Just wanted to ask if there is some kind of email notification that we can subscribe in order to get notified whenever there is a new rpm package update is added in the AIX toolbox webiste/repository. We have a project where we use the apache httpd, php and mysql packages in AIX toolbox, and the customer is asking how we get notified if there is a new update on those packages. I don't think there is, but I'm asking the question here anyway, maybe you guys have some suggestions. Thanks and I'll appreciate any information or help that you can provide.

Linux handles this by running a daily cron job that asks the repo what is new.

You could do something like that, or if you are mirroring the repo locally you could check what gets updated in the mirror process. You can probably do this with an explicit package list.
