AIX Toolbox packages to use OpenSSL 3.0

    Hello AIX Toolbox Users, 

    Now that OpenSSL 3.0 is available for AIX 7.1 in AIX Web dowload, AIX Toolbox team will be building Toolbox packages against OpenSSL 3.0. 
    This OpenSSL movement will be done gradually, with the newer builds of packages requiring OpenSSL 3.0 libraries. 

    AIX Toolbox users are recommended to update their OpenSSL (lpp fileset)  to version 3.0, if they see errors like below while installing newer builds of Toolbox packages that requires OpenSSL 3.0.

    ( through rpm )
    error: Failed dependencies:
            libcrypto.a(libcrypto.so.3) is needed by xxxx-2.4.62-2.ppc
            libssl.a(libssl.so.3) is needed by xxxx-2.4.62-2.ppc

    ( through dnf )
    Error: 
     Problem: conflicting requests
      - nothing provides libcrypto.a(libcrypto.so.3) needed by xxxx-2.4.62-2.ppc
      - nothing provides libssl.a(libssl.so.3) needed by xxxx-2.4.62-2.ppc
    (try to add '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages or '--nobest' to use not only best candidate packages)
