AIX Samba 4.6-smbclient issue - libz.so could not be loaded

    exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program smbclient because of the following errors:
            0509-150   Dependent module libz.so could not be loaded.

            0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does not exist.
    Our previous Samba version was 3.6.

    Any suggestions on how to get pass this error is appreciated.

    Are you sure you are using AIX Toolbox Samba rpms ? 

    From the error message , it seems like that is not the case.
