That is not the current version  of rpm.rte for AIX 7.2.  Try this one and see if it corrects the problem. Run the updvpkg after you install the newer version.

That is not the current version  of rpm.rte for AIX 7.2.  Try this one and see if it corrects the problem. Run the updvpkg after you install the newer version.

I'm facing the same issue on AIX7.2, I re-installed rpm.rte but it doesn't help, anyone has a solution for this issue  ?

Looking around in the web, I coudn't found a solution.

Finally, I was uninstalled rpm.rte, cdrtools.base, and cdrtools.man.en_US packages, using installp (Never fails !!), and later I began again, whit rpm, and other rpm packages.
