We have a requirement to encrypt the AIX filesystems and swap, my understanding is that once the data has been decrypted off the filesystem under EFS it sits as clear data in memory(swap). I realise it would be difficult to access due to the inbuilt AIX control lists for users and EFS but I would like to encrypt the swap data if possible as a precaution. There's is no mention of this in the AIX docuemetation, can it be done?

    your requirement may lead to interesting and creative solutions though.
    I'd focus on the idea of not having swap devices at all or have their content transient instead of permanent.
