    Thanks for such important information.

    I checked the site and I can see it has really good step by step information.

    As per my case is concern , I have Power 5 systems which unfortunately not mentioned there , its starting from Power 6 System.

    So if I choose during wizard V5030 Storage Gen2 Family of Storage with Power 5 there is no such options.

    It would be really great if you can extend more on this or point me any link where we can see that if V5030 Storage can be used with AIX 5.3 with Power 5 systems.

    I guess these are the closest options to your configuration.

    Next you should check if you have one of the FC adapters and FC switches from the list.

     

    The combination of Storwize V5030 Gen2 and Power 5 is missing because it was not tested at IBM laboratories. It might work, or it might not.

    If you have a local IBM reseller you could ask them to contact IBM pre-sales support to validate your configuration. Maybe they can help.
