    All the Developer functionality/featuresn/runtime was added to Designer8.2.2 now and more over Developer tool is deprecated since 8.x release and very soon the Developer tool will go away replacing with Designer Eclipse UI…So the sooner you get hands on with Designer service development is better…

    Also the new Designer documentation/updates is available SAG online for review.
