  • 1.  Adding Inbox to custom portlet

    Posted Mon January 07, 2008 03:01 PM

    Hi All,
I’m working on creating a custom start portlet for all users and I want to add the inbox to it, so users can see their tasks when they log in. I can’t seem to find the default inbox - has anyone tried adding any of the default portlets to a custom portlet? Is there anywhere to get a reference of the default portlets deployed with the portal install?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Fred

Hm well firstly are you creating something like a Service Request System (SRS). If you do i would like to talk about it since i’m also working a project similar to it. It is still under design phase though. I did’nt quite understand what you meant by creating default inbox? Can you explain it a bit more? Thanks.

you can include any portlet in your existing portlet by dropping protlet include component or by load it in a child frame.
