The system contains BAAN and Oracle. Therefore I want to increase space. My question is the new space will be better on VG1 or same VG0 but hdisk1? Oracle Appl is on the same VG0 of the hd6 but hdisk1. Baan is on second VG1, hdisk2, OraData is on second VG1, hdisk3. I have read some info about the paging space, but kind got lost.

My take is that it's probably better to leave the paging space on hdisk1 since
both of your BAAN and Oracle data are located in hdisk2 & hdisk3. However, you
should get a better picture of which hdisks are getting more hits before making
the decision. You will be better off having the paging space in the least busy
hdisk. The AIX filemon cmd and Nigel's nmon will help in figuring out how busy
    each disk is.
