Hi,

I would like to have a Left Navigation Menu to access my multiple CAF applications.

And for that I have created new Shell Rule with new Shell Section for left side of the page. I could add a leftnav to that Shell Section. But I’m not able to add links to leftnav. (I mean I don’t know how to add).

Would anybody please direct me how I can accomplish this?

Hi Jaimin,

The default noodle shell already has a left nav section.
If you configure your application pages in the Fabric tasks and set the ‘Is Task Folder’ and ‘Is Openable’ in the page properties, you should be able to see your application pages in the leftnav.

If you still do not see your application, then you need to check the ‘Permissions Management’ (with Admin access) and verify if there is any role based access control on the pages.

Is is mandatory for you to create a new shell and use it?

It’s not mandatory to create a new shell but I prefer to have it separated from existing shells.
