  • 1.  add  dynamic images into 2 crosstabs in cognos version CA11R13.

    hello everyone,

    I'm trying to add  dynamic images into 2 crosstabs in cognos version CA11R13.

    I got below error, and the workaround is to add query into page -> data -> query + properties.
    The problem is page -> data -> query + properties only allow you to add one query, but in my case I have 2 crosstabs, ie 2 queries.

    How can I fix this?

    CRX-API-0005 An error occurred at or near the position '0'. The variable named '[SP6].[RATINGImage]' is invalid.

    CAF-WRN-2082 An error has occurred. Please contact your administrator. The complete error has been logged by CAF with SecureErrorID:2019-06-14-11:18:06.557-#262

    I also tried to add one of them query into page -> data -> query + properties, and then create Master Detail relationship with the other query.
    but it doesn't work

    @ella ye I do not know how your report is authored, but can you add the query item to the properties of the crosstab(s) rows or columns?  ​

    If this does not work, could you attach a sample report spec showing your issue?

    1.I don't see any where in the crosstab to set properties ( I think it's only available for list?). See 1.png please.

    2. Layout of my report in design mode. 2.png
         1st part is a image based on the value of the list. It works as I have added the query into Page properties.
          2nd part is the crosstab where there is a image based on values.

    3. Spec attached.

    @ella ye Thanks for sending the report spec. I will have a look, but you can set the properties on the crosstab rows or columns. Screenshot attached for reference: ​
