    I am currently working on a migration of Enterprise Adapter for R/3 ALE. The adapters
    need be be moved from one AIX system to another.

    Any tips on what to watch out for?

    Ensure that you have the appropriate R/3 ALE libraries for AIX copied over. Make sure to install the adapter (DO NOT COPY the original installation).

    Reconfigure the new adapters to point to the appropriate brokers. If there are several adapters involved then the already configured adapters.cfg file can be copied over and the adapters can modified.

    Do not delete the source AIX server adapters. Just disable the configured adapters and enable the adapters on the target AIX server.
