    I am trying to understand 'Actions & Plans' in planning analytics and the difference between Action and a Plan

    Can someone suggest a use case on this?

    Thanks Nick @Nickolus Plowden..the blog is quite informative. I still have one question in my mind though..why do we need both Applications and Plans, when Plan can do everything Application could possibly do..Both have common features like contribution capability, announcements etc and in addition Plans have some additional capabilities, like workflow..then why do we need applications? This raises a doubt on whether I need to go with Application or a Plan for a certain task..
