  • 1.  ACE on OpenShift "Designer Authoring" Install Error

    I am trying to install the ACE Container "Designer Authoring" in OpenShift on-prem.  The install for this component never completes and it keeps showing this error in the log:  "fips.c(145): OpenSSL internal error, assertion failed: FATAL FIPS SELFTEST FAILURE"

    Does anyone know how to get around this install error?

    Other components like the Dashboard, Switch Server and Integration Servers have installed correctly.

    Hello Dave, 

    Is the OpenShift cluster installed in "FIPS Mode"? if so, according to the team, we currently do not support that configuration.

    Yes, FIPS mode is enabled.  So, basically what you are saying is we need to disable FIPS mode and then it should install?

    Heard back from IBM Support and they recommended to disable "Mapping Assist/Learning" which I did and that has seemed to work as the operand installed correctly.
