You should remove the close connection block on your code, may your issue be like this.  You can find more details on the below link.

I have commented conn.close(); statement in the finally block ,still same error happening .. 

do you see any other issue to fix this error?

Hi Christopher, 

You might had commit your connection manually. Please remove the commit lines on your code block and try again.
