Access denied for user on port 5555 -> 'soap/rpc'

  • 1.  Access denied for user on port 5555 -> 'soap/rpc'

    I’m seeing a really peculiar situation here.

    I am trying to insert data into the DB through portlet page that was created with designer 7.1.2 and the below error is thrown on the IS server log

    “Access denied for user on port 5555 → ‘soap/rpc’”

    I found a couple of knowledgebase articles on WM Advantage, indicating certain solutions such as creating JDBC pool alias table and changing the URL of extended settings which did not work.

    Appreciate your quick response.

    Regards,
    Magesh

    Have you configured the Central Users in IS? If not…you may need to do that because IS authenticates the user when it receives any request from MWS. Please refer the Central User configuration section Monitor users guide.
