  • 1.  Abbreviate numeric measure in Report Studio R7

    Hi,

    When creating dashboards in R7 there is a functionality that allows business users to abbreviate number measure on the dashboard.

    Is this functionality available for report authors in Report Studio?

    Hi Vincent, I've recently done this by using the Data Format property. For example to set the 'K' for thousands you can set the Scale to -3 and in the Pattern property set the Pattern to ####K​

    Depending on your data you might want to set this in a Conditional formatting for Value >= 1000

    You may use data format and conditional styles to achieve this in Report.
