Someone posted "Share your experience of MaaS and get a gift card."
    The link doesn't work... Figures...

We moved from Hexnode and Meraki, riding the AI hype-train thinking Watson was built into the platform.. Thats not the case.

Now we use Jamf and MaaS, two completely polarizing experiences.

Our experience with MaaS has been a solid 3/10

Changing policies on a device takes multiple days for the device to do it on its own, I end up having to just reset the device losing the employees data, as these are non-iCloud devices

Downloading and requesting apps could take up to 2 hours for the app to begin to download. It takes up to an hour for the app to appear in the App Catalog.

DEP enrollment can take up to two hours for the token to refresh for the device to drop into MaaS's DEP, its almost like MaaS is rate limited by Apple during certain parts of the day.

You can't have two browser pages of MaaS open, so I can't compare lists, I have to download the CSV file. This is huge... Why can't I right click and 'Open in new tab'???

We haven't made the move to Jamf completely yet as our larger departments are unfortunately stuck on MaaS.

MaaS is a dreaded headache for iOS.

I feel that the folks at IBM don't use, or haven't experienced the competition.

I challenge you folks at IBM to experience the ease of any other MDM on the market.

    Good Morning:
I have been involved in the Mobile security world for 17 years starting with supporting BES and BlackBerry.

I previously worked for another MDM Vendor and have seen the result of customers deploying any given MDM without the necessary support and technical insights needed for a successful experience.  Attempting to "go it alone" or rely on less than competent outside technical support can totally ruin any deployment.

When I joined my current company, my recommendation was MaaS360.  We are an MSP and support over 100k devices enrolled in MaaS360.  My recommendation was based on the consistency and simplicity of the solution's workflows, communication and technical support from the Vendor and ease of use.  What has really stood out is the ongoing innovation in new functionality specifically the integration of Mobile Threat Defense and Watson related AI.  These are game changers and simply outperform solutions like Intune, Workspace 1 and JAMF across both Android, iOS, Windows and MAC devices.

Watson is in fact part of the MaaS360 platform and has been for some time, beginning with Trusteer.  Watson integration is an integral and tactical decision by IBM as a means to differentiate.  The AI functionality available in MaaS360 is evolving quickly and now there are some very cool things to see in the product.  I am also aware this evolution is going to accelerate very quickly over the next few quarters.

IBM acquired MaaS360 from Fiber link many years ago, and unlike VMware and Ivanti, have always maintained separate support, development and marketing teams rather than making the product another sku blended in to their other solution teams. Microsoft consistently changes functionality, workflows and technology with little or no warning and attempting to access Knowledge Base information or technical support is beyond frustrating.

After reading your review I would be happy to speak with you and change your view of the solution
