We have a new OpenPower 720 here in our Test lab, and when plugged into power, we get a yellow exclamation indicator lit up on both the rear of the machine and the front display.
After post, the front display shows "01 N V=F T." When we press the white button to "start" the system, it cycles through codes (C001160, etc.) until it gets to 11002613, then stops there. The green power indicator is flashing, and the yellow exclamation indicator is still on steady.
We connected the server to a PC via cat 5 cable and configured it to see the ASM (advanced system management) interface via a browser. The error logs show the 11002613 error as "Power/Cooling Subsystem Unrecoverable Error"
The next error chronologically (and the only other error listed) is B181201B and is showing "Service Processor Firmware Predictive Error"
Could this be a firmware related issue? The current firmware version on this server is SF230-126.
I've been all over the firmware site (http://techsupport.services.ibm.com/server/mdownload2/01SF230_150_120.html) but the history doesn't reference this kind of error. I did see a previous thread for error code 11002630, but the fans and power supplies seem to be installed correctly already.
One of our tech got the advice from someone in IBM that he needed new/different power cords which he ordered. When received we tried them, but the same error comes up.
