We use this extensively, and so far my initial testing hasn't shown a problem. What exactly doesn't work, and under what circumstances? Has anyone else run into a problem?

    We also use custom date formats with optional segments extensively, and there is an issue documented for that as well (EC42251) that hasn't shown up yet in our testing. Is there a specific situation that causes this?

    For 52373 it appears this was fixed in a prior release, but a new ECase was opened in 7.5 that did not make it to 7.5.1. After 7.5.1 was released it appears there was user error in the re-open.

    For EC 42251, it depends on the input data. If you data validates properly and contains the optional fields it should work OK. You can search the ecases from the eservices section for more info.
    Note: This is my interpretation of what is in the Ecase.
