3com 8800 series switch auto discover

    Dear All,

    I have observed that once we integrate one or two switches, some other switches of type 3com 8800 series switch get discovered automatically. Why these are discovered automatically and should be delete it? Secondly, how to prevent their auto discovery in the future as well.

    Dear Aamir,

    autodiscovery is a default setting. You can disable it globally admin-"System and License Management"- Select your host where the events are received -"Deployment Actions"-"Edit Host"-"Component Management"-"Atodetection Enabled" change from True to False. You can also change it per Log source Type: admin - "DSM Editor" - "3Com 8800 Serie Switch"-Select-configuration-Disable "Enable Log Source Autodetection".
