I suggest you read a few Oracle on AIX whitepapers or redbooks, read up a bit on AIX memory allocation (clue: in general, AIX uses all the memory, all the time, either for code, app data or filesystem cache).

The other problem is 'server became slow' is meaningless, maybe you could try describing exactly what is slow, and what isn't, and what slow means (2 seconds for a response, 2 hours for a response).

Best advise I can give you is to download the perfpmr tool ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/aix/tools/perftools/perfpmr/, read the README, run the tool and open a PMR with IBM.
