    It might be just a bad sensor. Probably would want your hardware engineer check it out or consult him about it. Unless you feel comfortable enough to reseat the cover yourself just to see if the error stops.

    I'm sorry buy it doesn't add up.

    I guess you are selling IBM services and you have no affiliation with IBM, if you do then just raise a service request.

    You obviously don't own the machine either, or even work for the company who does, despite claiming it is your machine.

    You are posting on the IBM forum, trying to get for free, advice from on how to do your job, and sell IBM services for your own gain!

    I think your customer should get a new hardware engineer or take out a maintenance agreement with IBM who will be better placed to help them.

    Sorry, but if you are trying to sell a service you cannot provide I'm only going to say this is not the place to ask how to get out of the hole you have dug and then fallen into.

    I hope this post provides you with some ideas in which direction to take in life.
