  • 1.  00024Invalid language key when configuring the text environment

    Posted 07/31/19 02:38 PM

We started getting a strange error on the SAP Adapter.

    Error message:
[ART.117.4002] Adapter Runtime (Adapter Service): Unable to invoke adapter service pub.sap.client:ping.
[SAP.102.9000] JCo error: (104) JCO_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE - 00024Invalid language key when configuring the text environment.???

Has anyone seen this before. Nothing has changed on wM or SAP that we know of.

    Hi Doug,

please provide version of SAP Adapter together with applied Fixes for it.

Additionally provide the JCo Version you have installed to your SAP Adapter.

Please check for the country code provided in the connection config.

    Regards,
    Holger

    Holger,

The SAP Adapter version is 7.1 and the latest fix we have applied for it is SAP_7.1_Fix19.
The JCo jar file we are using is sapjco3.jar.

Where do I find the connection config? Do you mean the adapter connection settings? I don’t see anywhere to set country code there?

    Doug

    Hi Doug,

you will find the exact JCo Version in the server.log during start of IntegrationServer or in the About page of the SAP Adapter UI.

In the adapter connection settings there is a field labelled Language.

Might be worth to check with SAP Administration Team if there was a change in the localization settings.

    Regards,
    Holger

The language code is set to EN. Can I set more than one?

    Hi Doug,

you can try to leave it empty and see if this helps.
