In this webcast, Alexander Petrov and Ricardo Balduino will discuss the applications of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) in risk controls management for financial institutions and insurance companies. 

We will cover the typical use cases and the approaches the Data Science Elite (DSE) team used to address the challenges in risk controls rationalization using ML and NLP. This session will also introduce the Cognitive Risk Controls accelerator that was developed based on the experience of the DSE team.

Over the years, he has delivered Analytics products that contain the implementation of ETL engine, machine learning (clustering, classification, rules application using Rete engine), NLP, data visualization, and distributed machine learning algorithms implementation.

Alexander has more than 20 years of industry experience working as a data scientist, software architect, manager, and consultant on creating software products and developing new technologies.

Ricardo has written many technical articles and presented at several technical events globally. He holds a M.S. in Software Engineering from San Jose State University in California.
