Hey there, quick question:
Let's assume I have fictitious 3 variables:
- 2 Points in Time (for example: 2020 and 2021)
- Drinks coffee (yes/no)
- If person drinks coffee, do they add milk? (yes/no)
The last item depends on the answer to the previous question.
Now I would like to compare 2020 to 2021, while also looking at the conditional "adds milk" aspect.
Let's use fictitious data:
2020:
5000 coffee drinkers (CDs), 6400 non-coffee drinkers
Of those 5000 CDs, 3000 said they add milk.
We obviously have no data on Non-CDs, since they did not answer the Coffee question with a "yes",
2021:
6100 coffee drinkers, 7800 non-coffee drinkers
Of those 6100 CDs, 2200 said they add milk.
How would I best illustrate something like this in one neat, tidy graph?
Or perhaps, how do I need to handle this kind of data in general?
I probably need filter variables for the calculations themselves, right?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers.
