  • 1.  V27 Ctables subcommand urowpct.responses does not work

    Hi all,
    we noticed within one of our test procedures, that within the Ctable module the statistic urowpct.responses does not work anymore in SPSS V27. The corresponding syntax is as follows:
    ctables
    /table ($MC+Q1)[c][urowpct.responses] by split_1[c]
    /categories variables=all empty=exclude.
    The error message says:
    Warnings
    TABLE: Text urowpct.responses. An invalid subcommand, keyword, or option was specified.
    Execution of this command stops.

    Within older versions of SPSS, i.e. V22, this subcommand worked fine. Also, other subcommands like rowpct.repsonses, colpct.responses, ucolpct.responses still work. Furthermore, the subcommand urowpct.responses is described in the command syntax reference; so, we guess it should work.

    This seems to be a bug, could this be fixed?

    I see that urowpct.responses is not recognized in versions 27 or 28, although uresponses is.  The CSR does not list this statistic explicitly, but it says
    To obtain unweighted summaries, prefix a U to the function name

    You could construct this statistic in the table using the STATS TABLE CALC extension command applied to a table where the necessary cells are present.  If you want to send me an spv file with a table where you want this, I can put together the syntax for this.
    The extension command can be installed from the Extensions > Extension Hub menu.

    According to the documentation this should work.  I filed a defect on this issue.
