IKC Business Term Generation - technical preview

IBM Knowledge Catalog now includes a preview of an AI powered process to generate business terms, along with term descriptions from technical metadata. This innovation is available as part of the Metadata Import process in IBM Knowledge Catalog.

You can use this feature to augment incomplete glossaries or create new meaningful ones by generating meaningful business terms and explanations from technical data assets to ensure that your data assets are properly described and accurately utilized across your enterprise.

You can import data from a connection first and then generate business terms or generate business terms directly from data that was already imported through a metadata import. To expand your glossary and improve the accuracy of the model, publish the terms or save them as drafts and use them later.
