Oracle 19c planning - What agent to choose?

    Good day:

I have some questions regarding the agent I should choose on an Oracle 19c implementation:

    1. If Oracle 19c on Linux will be target-only, may I choose any of the three available Oracle agents? Can I install Oracle XStream agent for target-only, even if the database is not configured as 18c compatible?
    2. If Oracle 19c on Linux will be source and target, and the DBAdoes not accept configuring in 18c compatibility mode, do they require Oracle Golden Gate (OGG) to use Oracle XStream Agent?
    3. In the previous case, if they do not accept licensing a OGG license, are my chances restricted to Oracle Trigger agent?
    Thank you so much.

We do have a Trigger Engine which is capable of lower volumes, that can support a database using TDE on Oracle 19c, and  Long Object names ( over 30 characters).Typically,  there will be support for ongoing FixPacks for databases, but new features announced in those updates may not be immediately included in support unless explicitly announced as part of an IIDR  update announcement.
