Like Mark and Javier I would also recomend certifications tied to the stuff people use in CP4D, like Datastage, Data Replication or WKC, but have topics shared by these (like Parametersets or Project Connecions) present in each certification.
I think it is adviseable to have at least two certifications per topic, one for people installing and running CP4D and one for people developing stuff with it (like e.g. designing ETL flows with DataStage). As a good ETL developer you don't have to know how to install CP4D and on the other hand, as an admin installing and running CP4D servers, you do not need to know how to design a proper ETL flow.
For DataStage (which is my main topic), I think it is advisable to include Watson pipelines (the part that is the successor DataStage Sequences). Also contrary to the old DataStage certification (I think I did the 8.5 successfully in the past, which is at least 10 years ago), there should not be questions that have nothing to do with proper understanding of the tool and designing good flows like (from my memory):
1: You have a flow with the following stages running on x nodes, how many unix processes will this spawn: This would be about the last thing I ask myself when designing a new flow.
2: In the advanced find which of the following options do you have: AFAIK this was one of the questions that was added when new stuff was added to DataStage or there was a new release and the certification had to reflect this. Nobody needs to know by heart the number or text UI options in a dialog, in the case of the advanced search, you will see them when you open the specific UI.

Subject: Looking for feedback on a new Cloud Pak for Data Certification
The IBM Certification team is in discussion to create a new certification for Cloud Pak for Data and would like to hear from you. What certification would you be interested in earning around CP4D? What would bring the most value to your job?
