    Did you know that there's a whole area where you can monitor and manage your deployments?
     ðŸŽŸ For 1 raffle entry, tell us whether you've checked it out yet and how you use it! If you haven't used this area, tell us how you might like to use a deployment monitoring space.

    🎟 🎟 🎟 Want to get 3 extra tickets? Take this survey
    Note: this survey is to see if you qualify for a research study to give more detailed feedback on the unreleased versions of Deployment Operations in Cloud Pak for Data. You will be entered into the raffle based on completion of the survey, not whether you are selected for the feedback opportunity.

    I typically would want to use this to track my failed runs in a detailed manner (for troubleshooting and debugging)

    You can learn more about this feature in: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/SSQNUZ_3.5.0/wsj/analyze-data/operator-view.html.

    This view needs to support more detailed information; the customer wants more service-specific monitoring; they need to know whether there are peaks of processing workloads; whether a pod is down; what kind of pod this is and to which service it belongs to; they need to be warned in case a service is down; there needs to be the possibility to schedule checkups for the health of the platform;

    @Dorothee Reinhard for that type of information, use the Platform management page: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/SSQNUZ_3.5.0/cpd/admin/platform-management.html. It doesn't currently have all of the information you're asking for, but it does let you see when pods are down and the services that they belong to.

    What kind of information would you like to from a health checkup?

    Would setting quotas or getting alerts about events help with some of those concerns?

    Hi

    I want to track my resource usage of each "services" to charge back as well as to ensure compliance.

    @HOW MING (Felix) YONG What you're looking for is available on the Platform management page: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/SSQNUZ_3.5.0/cpd/admin/platform-management.html.

    You can also set resource quotas for the platform and for individual services: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/SSQNUZ_3.5.0/cpd/admin/platform-management.html?view=kc$platform_management__set-quotas

    You can optionally install the IBM Cloud Pak for Data scheduling service to enforce quotas: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/SSQNUZ_3.5.0/svc-sched/sched-overview.html

    You can also install the License Service (one of the IBM Cloud Pak foundational services): https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/SSQNUZ_3.5.0/cpd/install/common-svcs.html

    That would be a new thing for me. Unfortunatly I do not have someone from the deplyment group here to have a look.
    But I agree that to use it to see what is going on that need to be fixed should be one of the main aim.
    I will read carefully Julia's posted links.
